2 years ago today, the news of her death was made public and an entire community started its long process of mourning and healing.

I will never forget Denise. I never knew her but felt very connected and affected from the moment we learned of this tragedy. I am grateful for all of the supportive people I have met through the past 2 years. You couldn’t of said it better when you said her death and the entire community with the long process of mourning and healing. My heart still aches for her family and friends. She can not have died in vain, reform 911. :)

Ever since I heard about this tragedy and saw the ’Dateline’ episode (and cried for hours), I have felt connected not only to the wonderful young woman the world so needlessly lost, but also to her family and friends who are fighting so hard to save others. I still think about denise all the time. i graduated hs with her sister. its such a terrible loss her family has been forced to endure. Everyone PLEASE do your best to support this cause. I know it would make Denise so glad to know that even though it was in her death, she has made a great impact on her community, and the world... and though 911 couldnt save her, it can help save the next victim of crime. Rest in Peace Denise...may God bless your family...you are missed dearly.
