Benjamin Laird is the President and Co-Founder of Frontline Public Safety Solutions which was created in 2016. Benjamin has an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Grand Valley State University and received an MBA in 2010 from Benedictine University. Benjamin was a Police Officer for 13 years starting off his career as a patrol officer, then advanced to a tactical officer and retired as a Detective from a Western Suburb of Chicago.
He saw the lack of proper technology and in-accurate databases in police department’s and communication centers and wanted to create a better software platform. Benjamin and his team created 12 different modules to track everything from Vacation Watches, Directed Patrols at Risk Residents and more. Since the start of the business in 2016 Frontline has saved over one million calls to dispatch centers due to residents making their own entries and the information going directly to the officer. Benjamin and his team then created a new way to track officer and dispatcher training and has customers from all over the country. In 2019, in collaboration with communication centers and the Denise Amber Lee Foundation his company started a way to properly manage and analyze Quality Assurance Evaluations to give Supervisor’s the information needed to improve they QA process.
As of December 2020, Frontline Public Safety Solutions is in 40 States and have over 400 accounts being Police Departments, Sheriff Offices, Communication Centers and State’s Attorney’s Offices.
