Emily Abshire

 

Emily has been an RN since 2004 with a focus on Emergency Nursing since 2005. In 2008 she accepted a manager position where she fell in love with leading her department and empowering her staff to strive towards becoming the best version of themselves.  Why GT? (What led you to this path? And what keeps you going?)

I had the privilege to work beside Leon’s wife, Kathi Wasilewski, for 9 years in the ER. Of course, we had to use Guardian Tracking to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say, I fell in love with it. Guardian Tracking allowed me to connect with my associates in a way I couldn’t connect when using my paper and pen file cabinet system. Now, I have a strong desire to introduce GT to other healthcare leaders who want to increase staff engagement and satisfaction.
